Within Birkenhead Cycles there is a fully fitted workshop for all types of service and repair work.

As well as individual jobs (phone for a quote), Birkenhead Cycles offers Three levels of cycle service.
Bronze Service:- Set up brake cable tension
- Index gears
- Clean disc & pads/brake lugs
- Re-centre calipers/pads
- Lube cables
- Check Q/R skewers/Torque wheel nuts
- Check chain for wear
- True wheels
- Check headset Torque the following:
- Stem Inc. bars & forks
- Cranks
- Pedals
- Dropout

- Replace brake & gear cables both inner & outer

- Removal of cassette, chain and rear mech if necessary to be cleaned in parts washer

we book bicycles in when they are brought in and cannot guarentee same day turnaround especially during our busier times of year, we try our best to keep our turnaround times to a minimum.
Bikes may be asked for deposits before work is started.
We Exist to sell and service bikes, we are not a secure storage facility, your bike may be deemed abandoned if left with us for more than 6 months or we are unable to get in touch with you after 4 months
Birkenhead Cycles reserves the right to sell abandoned bikes to recover service costs
