Making your Payment
We accept the following payment methods: - All major credit cards (except American Express) - 0% interest free finance (contact Birkenhead Cycles for details) - Pay Pal - We also have a Lay-Away service if you wish to pay in installments - Personal Cheque (Cheque must clear prior to goods being dispatched for security purposes)

Shipping and Handling
Bikes purchased via Mail Order are despatched next day. Carriage cost for mainland U.K is £20. However certain locations may require a specialist courrier and this will incur an additional charge. Birkenhead cycles will inform you of this cost prior to completing your sale. Check with store for postage cost of Accessories.
Your Security and Credit Card Security
We value your security and as such have done our utmost to ensure that none of your personal information is at risk while you are visiting our site. Credit Card Security: Because of the threat to the security of your payment details, we will not request your credit card details via the order form. You will be contacted within 48 hours to confirm your payment details, thus ensuring that at no point are your details stored in any transmission across the internet.
All prices quoted on this website include VAT at the UK rate of 20%

Back Orders
If you require a product which is not in stock - but would like to order it, a 10% deposit will be required to secure the order. Before taking a deposit, we will first check stock with the suppliers who will then , usually guarantee delivery within 5 days. If the product is delayed we will refund your deposit if requested and the order can be cancelled. If you cancel an order before the expected delivery date we reserve the right not to refund the deposit. All deposits on bikes ie Christmas Club, are non refundable.
If you wish to complain.
If, unfortunately you have a complaint or are unhappy with the service you have recieved from Birkenhead Cycles, please have no hesitation but to contact the Store or write to our usual address.
Returned goods should be unused and with the original saleable packaging (exclusions apply) if you have the original sales receipt within 14 days (as proof of purchase) we will :- Exchange the returned product or Issue a refund based on the method of payment i.e. -In cash if you paid cash. -By credit card if you paid by credit card -etc. Goods returned without the original, saleable packaging or proof of purchase cannot be accepted back.
